Chris Wisnia creates, writes, and draws comic books. He was co-artist on Sam Kieth's Ojo (Oni Press), and creator of "Dr. DeBunko: Debunker of the Supernatural," "Doris Danger Giant Monster Adventures," and the film noir/mad scientist horror mystery, "The Lump."

Michael Shermer (publisher of Skeptic magazine, columnist for Scientific American, and author of "Why People Believe Weird Things") called Dr. DeBunko the coolest thing for skepticism since Lisa Simpson read Junior Skeptic Magazine when Homer had his abduction experiences.

Chris's Doris Danger comics are an homage to the Stan Lee and Jack Kirby pre-superhero Giant Monster stories, and contain giant monster contributions from such diverse industry luminaries as Mike Mignola, Gene Colan, John Severin, Mike Ploog, Los Bros Hernandez, Mike Allred, Tony Millionaire, Brian Bolland, and Arthur Adams. Mike Mignola called Doris Danger "the penultimate Kirby-style giant monster comic." Stan Lee warns to "Read it at your own risk." Tim Bradstreet said "Dude, you know I love
the magazine and think it rocks." Reviewers have tagged his work as hilarious (Permanent Damage), demented, "from the mind of a lunatic with A.D.D." (Comixfan), and "enormously entertaining" (newsarma).

Chris posts a weekly web comic of his character, "Dick Hammer:
Conservative Republican Private Investigator," at his website, www.tabloia.com. He also posts a weekly blog, entitled "Diary of a
Struggling Comics Artist," where he posts his diary entries about trying to make it in the comics industry. His blog is recommended by the Xeric Grant to aspiring creators.

Chris has another web comic and weekly contest called "The Spider Twins," where he encourages viewers to guess the name of each week's masked vigilante.
